A collection of twelve ceramic wall-hanging basreliefs.

Objects of Covenant (Obiecte de legământ) is a collection of XII symbolic ceramic objects that mark essential moments in a human life, thresholds of transformation, emotional bonds, and quiet inner shifts. Each piece is conceived as a silent, enduring witness to a deeply felt state: from birth and early celebrations, to friendship, encouragement, success, gratitude, longing, love, homecoming, forgiveness, and finally, mourning.

These are not decorative items, but archetypal forms imbued with meaning meant to be touched, offered, kept, or passed on. The collection was created by reflecting on the traditions of small, old communities that come together to both celebrate and grieve. Often, these moments were expressed through symbolic objects, modest, tactile gestures of presence, memory, and care.

This collection is a contemporary continuation of that spirit. Through texture, form, and gesture, it invites reflection, connection, and the celebration of a life lived with presence and meaning.

For the one who has just arrived, fragile, miraculous, unnamed. This object is a whisper of a greeting, a cradle of clay, a quiet promise from the world itself: You are wanted. You are loved. You are home. Given to celebrate the beginning, it holds the hush of a first breath, the softness of new skin, and the awe that meets every birth.

Technique:

Fired at 1220°C
Materials: unglazed stoneware
Size: H 16cm / 9cm 

Every piece is touched and cared by the craftsman. All ceramic materials used are non-toxic, it can be cleaned with soap and water.

This item is tailored with care in our small atelier. The slight imperfection is part of the manufacturing process.

Packaging:

Comes in a hard kraft paper box with the story of the object. The object can be a symbolic gift to a dear person or beloved self.

Imagine seeing every evening the simple ceramic piece that speaks of the invisible, of the good and kindness around, imagine a piece that is beautiful and invested with care. We desire a world where we are surrounded by such objets-ideas.
